Hello there, I am a believer of Christ. I am a wife, mother to a 15 yr old boy travel baseball here we go! I am a pet lover, have two amazing dogs, spent 22 years in the veterinary field. Most importantly I am a survivor of childhood abuse and trauma and domestic abuse from my first husband. I am also standing proof of what trusting in the Lord means. I left my ex-husband with $45 dollars to my name and made a promise to him and myself that I would be exactly where I am today. The road was hard, dark, incredibly painful but I was never once abandoned he walked beside me the entire time, he was my strength , my resiliency, he kept pushing me even when I wanted to give in. Ep 3: Balancing Faith and a Demanding Job: Tips from a Tourism Director

In this podcast, Paige C. Clark speaks with Rose Jordan, the Director of Tourism in Mineral Wells, Texas. Rose has been in her role for four and a half years and was on the Tourism Council for three years before that. Rose's job is to help people fall in love with Mineral Wells. However, Rose spends a lot of time after hours building relationships with tourism partners and attending events. She is also the film liaison for the community. Rose's week is typically spent reading scripture, journaling, and spending time with God. She has been researching Christian meditation, is reading through scripture, and spends her lunch breaks painting or writing to connect with God. Rose and her husband sold their house and bought an RV so they could be park hosts at one of their state parks.
